The short version: XIReel is a free beta. Use it for your football analysis, keep backups of work you care about, don't abuse it, and understand it comes without guarantees while it's in development.

1. What XIReel is

XIReel is a browser-based football match analysis tool operated by James Edmond. It is currently a free beta: features may change, break, or be removed as it develops.

2. Your content

Everything you create in XIReel — teams, tagged events, squads, clips, annotations — is yours. We claim no ownership of your footage or analysis. You're responsible for having the right to use any footage you load into the tool (e.g. your club's or league's filming permissions).

3. Your responsibilities

Keep your own backups of important work (Data → Exports → Backup — it takes seconds). Beta software and browser storage can fail.
Keep your account credentials to yourself and use a password you don't use elsewhere.
Don't use XIReel to store or share unlawful content, don't attempt to break, overload or reverse the service, and don't misuse other people's personal data in your squads and notes.

4. No warranty

XIReel is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of a free beta service. Your best protection is the built-in backup feature — please use it.

6. Intellectual property

The XIReel name, logo, design and software are © 2026 James Edmond. You may use the service for your own analysis work (personal or professional) but may not copy, resell or redistribute the software itself without permission.

7. Accounts and termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. If we ever discontinue the service, we'll give reasonable notice so you can export your data.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be flagged in the app. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
